There are women in my ward whose kids are not home during the day and who are not formally employed. These women probably have a much larger personal impact on the lives of those around them than they ever could working 9-5. These are smart, capable, hard-working women but they would be classified as stay-at-home moms. Anyone who didn't know them and their good works could easily judge them to be wasting their talents when really just the opposite is true.
