The one defining play was less weather and more poor play call and execution
Saying VA was more familiar with the weather and therefore had an advantage is just not so. The stadium had NEVER been closed because of weather. All the Virginians (lots of old folks and parents of the VA players) we spoke with during the break were shocked at the weather. They had never experienced such a sight. The continual downpour was quite amazing to them.

To say the VA players were familiar with the weather and stoppage is simply flat out untrue. We were the more horrid team that day, and it had nothing to do with the weather.
