I have heard that it is actually women that make couples late especially for church. Mormons tend to be late. That is not the way it was in my family. My mom would say things to push us out the door but my dad would be the one that took so long. I think that is the way it is for most mormons.
I never had problems getting there myself. I hear of mothers who dont even try to get out the door even when there is still time. you either go or you stay. That said with women there are many wards you have to be right on time for relief society and few if any that you cant count the women that can get there on time on one hand. I know many mothers that are that way. does anyone know a mother that is on time.
I heard the saying mean mothers have children that get to church on time. They may be sweet too just trying to get them there. If there weren't on time moms there probably would be no eagle scouts. Because I dont think anyone gets an eagle or gets to church on time without a mother that is pushy that way.
