Verlander's 4-seamer isn't a straight fastball

You can't get by in the major leagues if you don't have movement on your fastball.

Virtually nobody who is not at least an active college player right now could get contact on a Verlander 4-seamer except by pure, dumb luck. Even in 5 tries.
