I understand where you're coming from. Honestly at that point in time I didn't really follow BYU too much, nor recruiting. I was just offering anecdotal example, I enjoy reading those from others - so every blue moon when I have those examples, I think others may find them interesting.

All I'm stating is having been around him and years later having gone to BYU and subsequently becoming a Cougar follower again, I just don't see Corey as a BYU student.

He was from Washington, and I know he wanted to get back there to be close to family. So although I didn't speak with him on a consistent basis, what I did hear from him was always about Washington, so all-in-all, it's hard for me to picture him as having seriously considered going to BYU.

It still cracks me up when I saw a few minute interview on ESPN with Corey and he was talking of his time at Dixie and how it was good for him to go there in that he was able to slow things down there and concentrate on his studies. We all knew the girl who was a friend of his who "assisted" him with his homework.
