1. I came across this board in 2002. I have a lot of interest in BYU. I was a student at BYU for about a year before and after my mission. I had a great time at BYU even though I grew up in Salt Lake City cheering for the home-town team.

2. I met my wife and many life-long friends at BYU. There are many die-hard Cougar fans among my family and friends. I also have friends who played football and basketball for the Y in the late 80s and early 90s. I always wanted them to do well--except against the Utes.

3. I'm LDS and like the religious discussions on this board.

4. I live in Utah. In so many ways, this board is as much a Mormon/Utah culture board as a BYU sports board.

5. There are few places where I can find more discussion about University of Utah sports than here on Cougarboard. Most of those posts are interesting--if not a little bit misguided.

I don't post often, but when I do I try to be respectful because I consider myself to be a guest here. That's why I donated to the board and spend some time here.
