Uh, hunting is GREAT..............................
if you want to pay a $1,000 per year hunting lease. Public land access in Texas SUCKS cause there is hardly any public land. Hiking, well, not lots of "hiking" hiking, maybe more like "trail-walking" hiking. Certainly not lots strenuous with incredible vistas once you peak out three to five thousand feet higher than surrounding valley floors.
