What I HATE is the fact taht this coaching staff especially HC has been Deified by BYU fans when it has made TONS of coaching mistakes. WHICH I believe it SHOULD be allowed to do and GROW.

But NO! Many MANY! BYU fans HAVE to have Bronco be a GREAT coach right out of the box and continue to beat that drum , INSTEAD of allowing the man to make mistakes, ACKNOWLEDGE thiose mistakes , LEARN from them (or NOT ) and Grow, ( or NOT ).
Truly THAT is teh Crux of my issues. NOT with Bronco per se.

I am more baffled by his slowness to grow adn learn and concerned with it and that is it concerning him. However coupled with Blue goglled fans Anointment of him as the next greates coach on the planet while IGNORING obvious coaching issues has been driving me crazy!

If fans would simply admit his faults and give him time to correct or not, THAT would be awesome.
He HAS corrected many issues, but CLEARLY has a LOT to learn and correct. I believe that IF he DOES continue to correct issues,he CAN BECOME a TRULY great coach.. However he is far from it at this point.
There are staffing issues adn in game management issues and in game adjustment issues, recruiting issues, personnelle issues, that need improvement. I'm not saying that all of those are a disaster,but they NEED attention.

This year has been proof that he still has a TON to learn. Mismanaged his coorcdinators. Mismanaged teh QB situation, mismanaged games. Those are ALL easy to correct and learn from, like learning that Curtis needed to get teh rock. THAT took WAY to long to figure out. A great HC should have taken care of that sooner. Perhaps he didn't because he TRUSTS and gives TOO much autonomy to his coordinators.

Hopefully he will learn from all of this.

I still want him as HC, but I want him to grow faster, make the right decisions, which BTW are obvious ones, and move on.I don't want BYU fans to ignore all of his issues. Embrace them for now and watch him either GROW or fail. IMO Bronco is Tracking up, just slower than "I" like. However since he is IMO tracking up, he has my support.


Is that too much to ask?
