but think about what is included in pooled conference revenue. There is no way TV revenue is poring into the conference because of TCU. They are not selling out their home stadium, let alone traveling large amounts of people to other stadiums. It doesn't make sense that TCU would be adding more to the conference revenue pool then BYU or Utah. Again, I am just using common sense and what my perception is about TV ratings and ticket sales. I don't think your total revenue numbers contradict that at all.
Total revenue depends on a lot of factors. According to the numbers you listed, Stanford has more athletics revenue than USC, but I don't think anyone would suggest that Stanford brings more to a conference, even looking strictly at revenue, than USC. Forbes lists USC as the 15th most valuable team in college football and Stanford is, obviously, not on their list of the top 25.
