The figures come from the U.S. Department of Educations Office of Postsecondary Education. Each year, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act requires schools to report their overall revenues to the Department of Education. (The Naval Academy and U.S. Military Academy did not report their revenues and, therefore, are not included in the chart.)
