Or maybe the QB would just throw the ball to an
outside receiver who would then run untouched the length of the field because your entire defense was lined up right down the middle of the field.
I think the quarterback would think to himself "Holy crap, all three of my receivers are completely uncovered. Why are they running a 7-3-1? Well I guess it is some kind of stupid blitz package, I'll call a hot read to the outside receiver."
