“Madness” for a reason. Anything can happen in one game.

I watched the entire Duke v Bama game tonight. And while Duke clearly is a great team, and better defensive than us(mostly because of their two big men Maleuch and Flagg), their guards and perimeter defense was NOT noticeably better than us. Bama got plenty of the same, or even easier 3pt looks as they did against us. They just weren’t making them from deep, and/or while being guarded closely like they were against us. All tonight’s Duke v Bama game proved was what we all knew, Bama made threes against us at a rate that was extremely rare, and historic. They would have beat Duke tonight if they made threes the same way they did against us.

Bama is a good team, but it WAS a fluke. It wasn’t because we sucked on D.

Now did we suck and choke on our own 3pt shooting? Yes.
