More stable? NBA head coaches don't typically stay in one place for a long time.
We've even seen NBA coaches be successful and a star player runs them out. Kevin Young, as long as he continues to be successful, will be at BYU as long as he wants to. That's stability. If he'd taken the Brooklyn Nets job last year as had been rumored, he'd likely be gone in 2-3 years.

Would have 41 road games in the NBA. This year he will have, at most, 39 games total while making comparable NBA money
