Or is that even a concern? My line of work has potential for big lost $ if I screw up.

Go to your state’s Secretary of State website and form an LLC.

Yep. If there are no equity investors and no employees just go form the LLC yourself then take those docs to the bank

Will also need an EIN from IRS to open bank account; easy to get online
