I think he poorly worded a post that should have said as a player archetype, Demin brings an intriguing mix to the discussion.
I mean in today's NBA what would you rather have:
A 6'9" PG who is a smooth athlete with great passing vision and tremendous upside (Upside is Luka Doncic)
A 6'9" PF with a great feel for the game who isn't necessarily great at any one thing but has no weaknesses (upside is a Paul George type player if he gets a bit quicker)
Most would choose option A. This is why scouts are drooling over Demin despite some glaring issues in his game right now. But make no mistake, Cooper Flagg is the better player/prospect because he is more of a sure thing.
