I'd definitely rather have a week of diarrhea than one throw up. 100 days is too
much though.
It's also the discomfort of the nausea and buildup to the throw up. Nothing makes me wish I could stop existing like nausea does.

Just ended a 20+ year streak of not throwing up. Maintained the streak through nothing but grit and sheer determination

My son came home today feeling sick and spent most of the night doing both.

How long does the throw up last.

I'd say he started around 5-6 and it got pretty intense. Then petered off around 10-11.

Throwing up sucks but the relief right after almost makes it worth it. Almost. May your heaves never be dry.

Dry heaved for the first time in December. It was awful and really weird.

Why would anyone resist throwing up?

Because its the single worst bodily function we experience. I hate it!!

That's the problem. I never just throw up once. It's usually 3 or 4 times. With tons of heaving. I'll take the diarrhea.

But that's not what the OP said. Diarrhea better than vomit in a 1 v 1 for sure

1 time in 25+ years. Food poisoning in India. I had to give permission to myself to vomit. Never again.
