Had them for almost 40 years with no infection issues ever. My Rx is -7.5, so I
literally can't see without them. I use them on camping trips, vacations, everywhere. Sometimes I'm able to wash my hands, 90% of the time I don't beforehand. Never had any issues. I can put them in within a few seconds and don't need a mirror. Biggest trick is to keep the contact wet, but your finger dry. If you do this, the wet side will instantly stick to your wet eye. If your finger is wet, then they can stick to your finger and that's when it gets tougher to get them in. I use monthly Oasis lenses and love them. No issues.

With that said, I'm considering ICL surgery, because there are times at night that I wake up and would like to be able to see instantly, and can't. Trying to decide if it is worth it.
