Yes you get used to putting them in. It does take time. In 30+ years of wearing
I have never had infection issues.
Always wash your hands thoroughly. Make sure you are using new solution (accidentally used expired once and had minor issues). Never reuse dirty solution (duh).
I found that in dry climates like Utah and AZ it was more difficult to get them in than back East and in Florida where it was more humid.
