bowl conference tie-ins were blown up by the CFP. The bowls had to actually put together interesting games rather than have to watch some 7-5 team get a prime bowl spot in the Alamo bowl (or Rose Bowl...🥀yewts🥀) only because of conference tie-ins. Nobody wanted to watch that. But it kept being force fed to us...the fans. Give us good teams and good stories and fans will watch!!
