We saw the results of this in what Wilner would write, what Canzano would write, remember the crap they were making that poor girl at KSL write? All these writers were being misinformed by voices at these pac12 schools - those same voices likely were asking Harlan to push back against the CBS Sports article.
so...you ask, what does he gain? He saved face in front of those inner-dept opinions leaders.
...and he did it seemingly unaware of how what you write on social media can come back to haunt you.
