Growing up, I remember that as soon as college seasons ended, the NFL was all
over Saturday games. Usually the last two weeks of the regular season would feature two games. I would imagine once this window opens, it is super lucrative for the NFL.
Totally agree with the OP, though. Conf champ games can go away as long as every P4 conf is guaranteed two spots in a 16 team playoff.
