because we lost last year in the regular season and then BYU already getting beat by them last year after that, that is insane. The innocent comment was something common that coaches and athletes say all the time when they lose and get another chance at playing.

How it is still bothering this player a year later and how he is able to still use it as motivation a year later to juice himself so much after already beating us soundly in the tournament is honestly incredible to me. Haha. The mountain out of a molehill comment above is spot on, but if it continues to work for them, keep doing it I guess. Just sort of weird to me at this point.
