With me it generally goes like this. "I'm 6'2"". Then they say, "No way, I'm X
and you're way taller than me. You have to be at least 6'3"."
Then I say, "I'm pretty sure I'm 6'2" as that's what I've always measured at the doctor's office, but maybe I'm a bit over." to make them feel better, but then walk away pretty sure they are inflating their height and pretty sure I'm almost exactly 6'2" and if taller it isn't by more than 1/4 inch.
