an awesome culture does NOT guarantee winning. That is why some toxic teams can still win a lot of games over a short-run. However that level of success is usually not sustainable. I think a good example of that is my beloved '85 Bears. With that defense and McMahon/Payton on offense, that team had a real shot at being a dynasty and winning multiple Super Bowls. But they were just a "1 and done" SB team. Ditka and Ryan did not create a good team culture, and the team fell apart after their one SB trip. Of course, there is a lot of blame to go around on that one, but I think culture was part of it.
