Ask yourself the reverse of your premise. What if you were talking to another fan and they said their conference was better than another and you asked why, and they said because one team beat another in a bowl game?

You’re right that many wins can stack up but it has to be beyond this game. It’s fine if you want to cheer for ASU for that reason.
