In my view, Waterman is a similar situation in that he was all loyalty and "let's keep the team together" after Pope left ... and then he left when offered more money and never looked back.

Did BYU fans trash him on Twitter? No.
Did BYU fans question his integrity? No.
Did BYU fans go after his family? No.

All BYU fans did is say, "Dang, that sucks ... I liked him. Too bad he left." and they moved on.

Ute fans are losing their mind because (1) he transferred to BYU and (2) they're a fanbase with a lot of jerks who like to attack people personally who are associated with BYU, as Keanu is now.
