If anything it just represents a concerning trend for Utah that BYU is in the game with momentum. These players talk to each other about NiL and culture and clearly BYU’s current defensive staff is attractive to more recruits than in the past and Utah no longer has a conference or financial advantage. Spence Checketts is claiming the Utes are working on something big to up their NiL game. It’s still a trash school environment, if you ask me and BYU has a lot more class, networking, and academic pluses built into their processes and environment. BYU is now putting players in the league too so they’re losing that advantage.
