The one issue I see he is looking at gross cars vs volume cars.
So a gross car is your tacomas, tundras, broncos, Raptors. Generally your Vans, Trucks and SUVs. These are the cars that sales people like to sell because they make huge commissions off them. However the dealerships doesn’t make truckloads off of them because usually only a few are on the lot and they move fast.

Volume cars like Rav4s, sedans, crossovers are what sell the most. F150 is a weird one with Ford because it’s both.

In the video he admits those “volume” cars are moving. The crash is more dealers buying those gross cars and having too much inventory so the prices are going to drop significantly on those.

He should be looking at sedans and crossovers and if those are not selling then we do have a problem.
