Keep in mind your paying an HC between $5-$8 million so it is true luxury to have your HC not be considered an expert on at least one side of the ball in the event that you don’t have the best assistants.
How many good NFL coaches are just CEO’s who aren’t immersed in one side of the ball, who rely only on having good assistants to be successful? Truly you need both.
So with all this said, I also believe Jay is a better recruiter, and disciplinarian. So while I like KS and think he is a good coach. I would rather have Jay.
