... so that in their hubris the Pac-12 turned down ESPN's $30M-$35M offer is the reason that the Pac-12 folded.
USC & UCLA leaving for the B1G was the start of their downfall, but the conference would have survived just fine if the leftovers had accepted the good TV deal instead of turning it down because they had delusions of grandeur.
