I agree with your critique of the misplaced climax and resolution; however, I
had a bigger (well, bigger to me) problem of the contrived source of Christmas goodwill, and how it can be generated by simply singing a song about Santa Clause. What?!
I know a lot of people like it, and that's fine, but to me, it's in my bottom five.
