Basically two parts: “We want to let you in on a secret” and “now you get to help be Santa for your younger sibling”
We had the talk after their 9th Christmas. Neither kid was shocked or sad to find out. Seemed like a good time.
I have a nephew who believed in Santa until around late Middle School and he was teased mercilessly for it. We didn’t want that to be a possibility.
