It's not about a speed limit. It's about staying out of the lane unless you're

passing, so others can pass, regardless of speed. It's about safety. When cars don't have to weave and can just go by unimpeded in the left lane, it's way safer. People drive 200mph on the autobahn's and because everyone stays out of the left lane, they have far less accidents and deaths than we do in America.
