Yes. Our neighbor was a long snapper. He went to a camp at Wisconsin that had over 100 guys. After a couple of days he
was ranked number one at the camp. The final test was to make a long snap in front of their head coach and all of the other camp participants. He bounced it and lost his scholarship and spot on the team. All he had to do was complete that one snap.
He ended up at a non-P5 school.
