The other thing that needs to happen, and this was pointed out by a couple of friends who played RB and WR for BYU, ARod has very good play design, but the plays run out of specific sets narrowing what decisions the D needs to make. It is what somewhat makes his offense predictable. He needs to be able to run the same plays out of different sets if nothing more than to keep the defense guessing more. I have been able to predict which play is coming at times because of the offensive set pre snap, and I don’t study film like FB players do. If he could do this one thing, my guess is that the offense ends up being even better than what it has been.
