Seed you don't see a flood of people saying "the 8th seed had no chance, they shouldn't have even played the game". Why are we so allergic to letting things play out on the field?

In years passed there would have Always been the question of if IU was overated or not had they not been included in a big game at the end of the season against an out of conference foe. Now we know! Why would we want it to be different?

I will say that having large conferences does make playoff selection difficult though
