buying spiral cut hams at Costco, we loved the reduction in cost. It's significant. This last Thanksgiving, after probably 15 years away from HB hams, we bought one using the discount gift cards from Costco. Yes, a standard ham cost me $102, which is way higher. BUT, the quality was not even close. The HB ham practically melted in our mouths.

Deduction: If you can afford it, yes, IMHO the HB ham is significantly better.
