Their base valuation is athletic revenue X4. They are using the Dept. of Education data for their revenue numbers
The most-recent revenue numbers in the equity in athletics DOE database is from our last year as an independent/WCC.
Basically the numbers they're using for BYU doesn't reflect our current situation. It's dated and based on income generated while in the WCC. It'll take another 2 years before the equity in athletics database gets updated with numbers based on a full share payout from the B12.
