I was looking at a few hotels here and there and went back after a week and found many had booked up in that week, so I grabbed this one. Seems like a great location, and most importantly (and difficult to find) had a king bed room available. I used booking.com and paid nothing upfront and can cancel with no penalty up to just a few days before arrival. I know I have something that is in a great location pinned down, and if I feel like looking for something else I can. 2 min. walk to the Rivoli Metro station, 5 min to the Louvre and just across the Seine to St. Chappell and Notre Dame.

For Paris, I put walking location over decor and amenities, and breakfast included saves time and extra expense.
