Again, you want to say the offense was worse because of pace, you can’t ignore that the defense was great, and that’s likely the reason for the pace is to help the defense
Was the Offense perfect? No. Is Arod perfect? No. Of you want to talk about pace of play though, you have to consider why they did it, who made that decision, and if it helped for other reasons.
Seems reasonable that it was a decision by the head coach to protect the defense who lacked depth, and actually worked out pretty well in helping the defense throughout the season. It does not seem like a thing that Arod would want to do off his own accord just to do it.
