Love that we're getting more football, love that teams are getting a round of home games (not neutral games) in the playoff. I only wish that it was a team from the SEC who had to make the trip to South Bend (although Tennessee going to the Shoe is a pretty good outcome, too).

Concerns about the weather are, IMO, silly. The Lions will play at the Bears (an outdoor stadium right on Lake Michigan) on Dec 22; the Seahawks will travel there Dec 26. The Saints play at the Packers on Dec 23. And so forth...

Fans will certainly turn out, players and teams will certainly be fine, and the northern teams that earned home-field advantage will have a great edge.

What a great time to be a CFB fan.
