a few thoughts
I'm not sure where you are located, but safe companies often have scratch and dent sales. I got two safes that way. There is also a safe "outlet" right off the freeway in american fork, if you're local.

Besides that, I'd seriously look used. You can save a ton of money. Your biggest expense may be hiring a safe mover. If you've got a heavy safe and stairs, HIRE SOMEONE to move it. Those things are crazy heavy.

You'll get different fire ratings and some other stuff. That may or may not be important to you. I'd make sure it has power inside, as lights are very handy. Also I'd get a much bigger safe than you think you need. It will fill up with all sorts of stuff, from documents to heirlooms, besides additional guns you may buy in the future. I wish I had more room. Honestly, if I were to do it again, I'd just build a room in the house with a safe door, but it's too late for that now.
