Look at the college ratios.
CFB: 12, maybe 13 or 14 games for post-season
CBB: 30 to 35 games

So it's about 2.5 to 3 times as many games.

NFL: 16 to 19 games or so
NBA: 82 to like 100+ games

So it's about 5 times as many games instead. NBA should drop to about 50-60 regular season games and best of 5 formats for playoffs. But I know they won't because $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
