I think it’s access to games. Growing up the games were on the local channel.
Now they’re on a regional NBC network. No way I’m going to watch.

For football, I can turn on NBC or prime for a Thursday night game. Also, for football I follow multiple players and teams and the storylines are interesting.

There may be too many basketball games that none of them are important.

We watch some baseball but mainly because my son likes to watch it.

I feel like soccer has overtaken basketball with the kids.

They prefer football and baseball, then soccer.

I will watch college basketball if byu is playing.

And the nba finals, but that’s it.

For baseball, we watch some random games, and then the playoffs. Maybe go to a game.

We have an NBA team in our city and my kids have never watched a game or even know any of the players.

When I was a kid, my elementary school had calendars from them, signed basketballs every year. The outreach isn’t there anymore.

I think it’s the access to the product. Cable cut down,
