The Plasmas I have were actually pretty cheap and are both 10+ years old but still produce amazingly accurate colors and lifelike motion and images. The end of Plasma was a step backward, at least for awhile.

My TCL QLED is really great, though. It is a few years old, is an 8 Series and produces really great blacks and dark scenes with a full array LED backlight that can adjust to produce better blacks. In fact the QLED seems to do better black than the oldest of my Plasmas. OLED is better, but the difference for most content and in most scenarios is small. Roku interface is handy, though I'd like Google TV more for what I usually do.
