It seems to me more of an issue of health, which may be partially a coaching
failure, I suppose, either from poor training or overuse.

But in 2017 Squally was our lead back but 1, the offense was terrible, and 2, he didn't play the full season. He didn't play a full season in 2018 either and we had to go with a committee approach. In 2019 Ty'son Williams was playing really well, but went down for the season and we had to go back to RB by committee. In 2022 Chris Brooks got close but missed a couple of games and took a few games to settle into the system. Virtually the same thing happened with Aidan Robbins in 2023. And this year we basically lost one RB per game the first half of the season. I don't think all of this can be placed at the feet of poor recruiting. LJ is clearly very talented and Moa and Haunga both showed potential this year.
