Here are some of his stats while in HS:

Tallied 40.5 tackles (25.0 TFL) with 13.0 sacks and two forced fumbles as a senior in 2021.

Had a 5.0-sack performance in his 2021 season finale vs. Waipahu.

Did not play a high school junior season due to pandemic restrictions in Hawaii.

Had 23.5 sacks over 13 games during his sophomore season in 2019.

I think Poppinga could get him on track. He’s probably more athletic at that position than anyone we have on the team currently
