Maybe it’s like “umami” but instead of a pleasant, savory taste, it’s a bitter
…sort of nasty aftertaste?
As in: “I was excited that this was going to be tasty, but now I’m not. I’m disgusted by this program and its fans, coaches, and administrators.”
