From October to May you run the risk of encountering a bad storm. We had a very difficult trip this year in October followed by one of the most difficult trips to Provo in early November.

95% of the time it's better to go from Provo, through Heber, Evanston, Cokeville then Ashton. Idaho Falls through Swan
