1) we need a systematic way to rank teams. I know people hated BCS but computer algorithms are light years ahead now and they could be transparent about the inputs. I am 100% on the AI train for this. Don’t leave it to subjective judges. I would be okay with basically any methodology including this one you’ve laid out. As long as the computers don’t have brand bias as an input which would be insane.

2) if the projected top of the big 12 (UU, OSU, KSU) had only lost a few we would’ve had 2-3 teams in the CFP. It’s completely irrational that because we had teams rise up from the bottom we were penalized and only got one team in.
